While trying to come up with birthday ideas for Joan, I asked if she knew anyone with horses to arrange horseback riding. Uncle Nathan took over and arranged for some friends to ride their 2 horses to the equestrian center for the kids to ride. Oh my goodness...the excitement. Uncle Nathan will forever be on a pedestal as far as Jaelyn is concerned. The family was very kind and walked the kids around and around the ring. They road in different combinations: by themselves, in pairs and 3 on one horse. The horses are used barrel racing; so the kids even got a walk through of that course. It was the highlight of our vacation for Jaelyn and Allie.Little Caden looks even tinier riding Blazer (who we found out is a 4th generation grandchild of Mr. Ed)
