Monopoly Queen Dethrowned!

We've been playing Monopoly Junior for several months now and in that time, Allie has never lost a game. And not only has she not lost, she has always won - never placing 2nd or 3rd...Until today that is!!! Not to toot my own horn or brag, but I dethrowned the Monopoly Queen. She ran out of money, Jaelyn had $7 and I, as the winner, had $60. Hurray for Mommy. I know, I know, I should let them win, but I am ALWAYS the Monopoly loser so it feels good to win! Tee Hee! I'll let them beat me at Uno tomorrow to make up for it.

Family Game Night

I've always thought it would be fun to institute a family game night. I loved playing games as a child and I hope to pass that on to our kids. While not a weekly organized event, I've been trying to get the games out more often. Lately, we've been playing Uno a lot. Dan has even joined in a time or too. Caden isn't quite big enough to play yet, but he does bring luck to whoever he "helps." Caden and I won twice last night!
