Fun at the Fountains

Monday, we met my friend Sarah and her children at a shopping center in Malbis to play in a really cool fountain. We’ve been to Malbis many times to shop and eat, but we’ve only played once before when we met Sarah. The last time was 3 years ago. My kids were 9 months, 2 and 3. Jaelyn told me details from that first meeting. I can’t believe she still remembers it. We had just moved to Pensacola and I was desperate for friends. I knew Sarah from my Hannah’s Prayer message board online. We took a leap of faith and met each other in person and we really hit it off. We’ve become close friends and I always look forward to our phone chats and seeing her when we are home.

We got there a little before Sarah and were able to get a table with an umbrella. It was all I could do to get sunscreen on the kids before they ran off into the fountains. They played for about 20 minutes until Sarah, Hope, Halle and Hudson arrived. We had a picnic under a tree and then went back to playing. Sarah and I had a typical conversation in 2-3 minute snippets in between chasing after one of the 6 kids we were trying to keep track of. It was great fun. Thanks for meeting us, Sarah!
