1 More Step

We met with our SW for the first time this afternoon. It was a really easy going meeting. We just chatted about lots of things (many non-fostering related). Our next meeting with her is on the 20th and then we are DONE. She said to expect to be licensed 3 weeks after that! AAAHHHH. That's soon. Dan'll be gone the first 2-3 weeks of Sept and when he gets home, we'll be ready for a phone call. We found out there's only 1 other SAHM (stay at home mom for those not into acronyms) with a bed right now. Newborns can't go to daycare until 6 weeks, so she said we'll be one of the first ones to get a call on a newborn. I don't really feel one way or the other about that (sleepless nights are not my favorite), but it would be fun to have such a little one again. I wished away too much of Caden's tiny time and didn't know the girls when they were that age.
