Jaelyn and I began her construction project today. We started by duct taping shoe boxes together. We used regular cardboard for the base and roof. I did the majority of the work with cutting and piecing together, but Jaelyn did help with the tape. Next, we mixed water and flour to use as our paper mache glue. It was a fun, messy time and in the end, we have something that resembles our house. Now all Jaelyn has to do is painting, adding windows and doors, building a deck out of popsicle sticks and adding some flowers to the front bed. Do you think I can get away with using it again next year for Allie?
