Almost Kite Weather

Spring is sooo close (yet so far away somedays). Today was a close day. It is beautiful outside....blue skies, sunny and clear, in the sixties, with only a slight breeze. Caden and I got to Allie's school a little early. Allie's class made kites and were playing with them on the playground. I don't like to let Caden play when the class is playing so I got a kite out of our trunk (they are still there from LAST spring) and let him fly it in an empty parking lot. We couldn't get it up very high, but he had so much fun running back and forth trying to get it up into the sky. I'm hoping we'll have a pretty weekend so we can get out and enjoy some sunshine!
