I was only brave enough when we lived here to take the kids to the beach once, and that was to meet someone for lunch. They got to walk on the beach for 10 minutes. Boy, were they deprived. Dan and I took them to the beach on Friday and it was beautiful - clear, blue skies and beautiful water. The kids had so much fun running through the sand and chasing out the tide before running away so they wouldn't get wet when the waves came crashing back in. I hope we have a day to go back.
