My world has been rocked a lot lately by things with friends. Jenn was diagnosed with lymphoma in December on the 5th anniversary of my mom's breast cancer diagnosis. She's been through six rounds of chemo. Yesterday was supposed to start round 7, but there have been issues with her port and then a picc line. She met with her oncologist today for a new game plan...wanna hear it? The game plan is...game over. You win!
She's done. Her PET scan from last week was perfect. She kicked that lymphoma in the %#&. No "maintenance" medicine, no radiation, just future monitoring with PET scans. Thank you for those that have prayed for her. I'm crying happy tears for her today and thanking God for her complete recovery. Oh and if you feel so inclined, we are also praying for thick platinum blonde hair to grow back in :p.
