When Allie was about two and a half, we let her bungee bounce at the zoo. Being "the Fearless One," she loved it. Jaelyn didn't even consider it. They still talk about. We were at the mall last week and saw a bungee bounce. The kids begged me to let them do it so we took them back last weekend. They had so much fun. I loved watching how they all approached it.
Caden went first. He giggled as he bounced higher and higher. He was scared to try to flip, but did let go a couple of times.
Jaelyn had fun, but she only bounced up and down and up and down. There was no way she was going to let go or try to do a front or back flip.
Allie, being the dare devil that she is, was more than willing to try front and back flips. Her timing was a little off, but with more practice, she would have mastered them. At nine dollars for six minutes, she'll have to find someone else's trampoline to practice on.
As Allie was finishing up, Caden was begging us to let him go again. After watching Allie, he had decided he was brave enough to try what she did. Sorry little man...one time was all I could afford. Lesson learned. Next time the fearless one needs to go first to show them how it's done.
Afterward, we went to Dairy Queen for dipped ice cream cones. I don't know when the last time was that I had one of those. Chocolate dipped chocolate...soooo good.
